End of the year reminders!

As we approach the end of the year, we'd like to offer you a few tips and reminders!

  1. If you've met your insurance plan's deductible/out-of-pocket expense, consider scheduling an appointment and refilling medications before the new calendar year. This may save you a co-pay.

  2. If you are enrolled in a pharmacy assistance program (ie. Merck Helps, Lilly Cares, NovoCare, BI Cares), you are likely required to re-apply for the program at the end of the calendar year with your updated insurance information. If you have not received a reminder from the manufacturer, call the program ASAP and find out if this is needed in order to continue receiving free medications.

  3. If part of your New Year's resolution is to lose weight, remember that our physicians and dieticians can help with nutritional counseling, anti-obesity medications, and creating exercise regimens. The holidays can come with a lot of temptation to relax on your diet and exercise; if you need assistance getting your lifestyle back in order, please reach out!

Diabetes and Endocrinology Associates would like to wish you a joyful holiday and a wonderful New Year filled with happiness and good health!!!
